Ball's Pottery Mug- Man O War at Full Sail

A heavily potted mug from Ball's Pottery of Sunderland. Crudely decorated using broad brush strokes of pink lustre with blue & green touches, surrounding a a maritime ditty and, one the reverse, a transfer of a Man O War, in Full sail.

Circa 1860

Approx - 4 inches (100mm) tall.

In very good condition throughout with minor paint losses and nibbles to rim.
